We are seeking a Project Superintendent to oversee our Las Vegas operations, ensuring construction projects are delivered in alignment with design specifications, budget constraints, and schedule requirements. This role involves supervising and coordinating contractors and trades, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the full scope of construction activities.
+ Supervise and coordinate contractors and trades.
+ Ensure compliance with design specifications, budget, and schedule.
+ Conduct pre-construction meetings and coordinate temporary facilities.
+ Develop and implement safety plans.
+ Manage subcontractor contracts and ensure adherence to QA/QC programs.
+ Supervise jobsite efforts and conduct weekly safety meetings.
+ Record time and unit data and maintain regular communication with the Project Manager.
+ Handle daily scheduling, manpower management, city inspections, and document management.
+ Administer punch lists and ensure completion in Procore.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 8 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction.
+ Proficient in field management and subcontractor management.
+ Experience with commercial construction projects, including public works, TI, hospitality/restaurants, lab, or federal projects.
+ Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ OSHA 30 certification.
+ Excellent leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to interpret design and construction documents and contracts.
+ Knowledge of construction methods, tools, scheduling, and cost control.
+ Proven ability to ensure client satisfaction while maintaining profitability and safety.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
+ Familiarity with LEAN, BIM, and sustainability practices.
+ Strong computer skills, including project management platforms and scheduling software.
+ Strategic thinker with hands-on problem-solving capabilities.
Work Environment
This is an onsite position at various jobsites, including public works projects or hotel renovations. Work is Monday through Friday with TBD start and end times. The position is salaried with a focus on team collaboration, family-oriented values, and a flexible work culture where everyone contributes as needed. The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $62.50/hr.
