Electrical Superintendent (Pinjarra and Wagerup)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join our team at both Pinjarra and Wagerup site locations and be responsible for managing frontline work, coordinating resources, and supporting personnel to achieve exceptional outcomes while maintaining operational efficiency and fostering a culture of Zero Harm.

As an Electrical Superintendent, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the electrical projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You'll bring your expertise in leadership, technical know-how, and industry experience to oversee operations, deliver strategic goals, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage resources, equipment, and personnel to meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Implement and actively manage programs to align with KPIs and drive improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor Supervisors, and other team members to exceed performance expectations.
  • Create a safe working environment by enforcing compliance with HSSE protocols, conducting safety audits, and fostering a commitment to Zero Harm.
  • Monitor budgets, manage purchasing, timesheets, invoices, and proactively improve financial performance.
  • Develop and contribute to electrical estimates liaising with the site based estimator and teams
  • Address employee relations, ensure compliance with HR policies, and support workforce mobilisation and demobilisation.
  • Ensure work complies with quality standards, specifications, and company policies while adhering to risk management procedures.
  • Promote waste reduction, process improvement, and innovation across contracts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • About You?

    We are seeking a forward-thinking, hands-on leader with:

  • Trade Qualification in electrical discipline.
  • Cert IV in Frontline Leadership is essential; Diploma in Project Management is desirable.
  • Extensive experience managing teams in a contracting/maintenance environment.
  • Strong understanding of OH&S legislation, Australian Standards, and Codes of Practice within the Maintenance Industry.
  • Expertise in budget preparation and financial management.
  • Strategic thinking and risk assessment capabilities to identify, mitigate, and resolve potential challenges in cost, schedule, and operations.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, and cost/schedule analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
