Great Eastern Shipping is hiring for the role of HSEQ Superintendent

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Sailed as a Chief Engineer with Tankers/Bulk carriers with a shore experience of atleast 2 years
• Keen interest in instilling safety and compliance culture
• Effective communication skills
• Good understanding of safety management systems and other industry standards like ISM/ TMSA
• Attention to detail and analytical ability to work independently and in team

Job responsibilities:

• Promote and drives safe operations of ships
• Ensure safety and compliance risks are evaluated in all daily operations
• Always strive to improve safety culture on board ships to reduce accidents. Learnings from incidents are shared with all stakeholders
