We are seeking a dedicated Superintendent to join our dynamic team based in Phoenix, AZ. This long-term position is open to meet the demands of our current project load and offers a fantastic opportunity for career advancement within a stable, mid-sized company.
Responsibilities
+ Provide onsite field management for projects, focusing on safety, subcontractors, suppliers, and self-performed work.
+ Assist in implementing project-specific safety and accident prevention programs while maintaining safe work areas through regular inspections.
+ Coordinate, schedule, and manage all subcontractors and suppliers.
+ Select construction practices and methods for project completion.
+ Prepare weekly look-ahead schedules, crew task lists, and daily reports.
+ Compile labor tracking reports and maintain a thorough understanding of project schedules and budgets.
+ Assist the project superintendent with manpower onboarding, project plan development, and contract document maintenance.
+ Schedule and manage multiple crews across the project site.
+ Allocate resources, plan activities, review work, and manage consumables/equipment.
+ Prepare and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements, addressing any changes in work or costs.
+ Assist in creating project CAD drawings and oversee quality control, schedules, and production plans.
+ Delegate work and provide technical guidance to ensure sound and cost-efficient designs.
+ Assist with project and team management, mentoring other design staff, and resolving plan review issues.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of Superintendent experience with facilities construction projects.
+ Proficiency in water/wastewater project management, with consideration for oil/gas construction experience.
+ Knowledge of pump stations and lift stations operations.
+ Ability to read blueprints and manage field crews.
+ Experience in creating weekly look-ahead schedules.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with mechanical and electrical components in facilities.
+ Experience in industrial construction, wastewater, mechanical, and pipeline construction.
+ Strong subcontractor management skills.
Work Environment
This role involves working on projects located around the Peoria, Glendale, and Phoenix metro area, including water treatment plants, lift stations, booster stations, and reclamation facilities. The position offers a vehicle allowance of $700/month and a gas card, or use of a company truck if available. Work hours are generally Monday to Friday, 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm, with flexibility required based on project demands. The position involves almost 100% fieldwork on project sites, with no out-of-state travel required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
