Superintendent – Structural Steel Erection


Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead and oversee structural steel erection activities in the field. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring safe, efficient project execution.

Responsibilities



  • Oversee day-to-day field operations for structural steel erection projects


  • Lead and manage erection crews and subcontractors


  • Enforce safety standards and jobsite compliance


  • Coordinate crane operations, deliveries, and erection sequencing


  • Communicate daily progress and issues with project management


  • Ensure work is completed according to drawings, schedule, and quality standards


  • Participate in jobsite meetings and inspections


Qualifications



  • 5+ years of experience supervising structural steel erection projects


  • Hands-on structural steel erection background is required


  • Strong knowledge of crane operations, rigging, and erection sequencing


  • Ability to lead crews and manage multiple activities in the field


  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
