1. Determines Methods for Receiving, Storing, Identifying Materials, Inventory Location, Distributing Materials to Production Areas as well as the Preparing of Shipments. 2. Adjusts Inventories and Inventory Records, according to Receiving and Shipping Transactions, shrinkage or damaged goods as well as changes in stock locations or shipments that were not accepted. 3. Maintains the Warehouse’s Integrity by Auditing or performing Cycle Counts to assure correct entries into the Inventory System. Notifies the Cost Accounting and the planning Departments regarding Discrepancies found and performs the corresponding adjustments. 4. Determines and Maintains the Part Location System to assure the prompt location of stock. 5. Seeks ways to minimize the total physical effort and the resulting Cost of moving Materials in and out of the Warehouse. 6.
