:

Reporting to the Geology General Supervisor, you will be part of the Geology Department. You will play a key role in the management of the mine exploration (MinEx) team and in developing strategies to renew/increase the mineral resources of Amaruq both for the open pit and the underground operations. You will ensure that the department goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Prepare short and long-term drilling schedules to provide timely drill plans for both surface and underground drilling;

  • Experience supervising directional drilling programs (Devico);

  • Collect, document and interpret geological data to assist in the creation of robust 3D geological models for the resource estimation of operations and development projects;
