Job Description
UPMC Mercy Hospital is seeking an experienced and motivated Laboratory Supervisor to lead our Automated Testing Laboratory. This Monday-Friday daylight position offers a consistent schedule with no routinely scheduled weekends or holidays, providing an excellent work-life balance. As an exempt leadership role, the supervisor may occasionally be contacted for off-hours escalations as needed.
In this role, you will oversee daily operations of the Automated Testing Lab while leading and supporting a diverse, highly skilled team that includes Specimen Processors, Laboratory Support Technicians, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Medical Laboratory Scientists, and lead staff. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who is passionate about quality, efficiency, and fostering a positive, high-performing laboratory environment.
