Position SummaryReporting to and functioning under the general supervision of the manager, the Supervisor, MRI is responsible for oversight of the daily operations, workflow, and MRI staff for multiple locations. This role provides administrative, training, and supervisory support to the manager and director by assigning, scheduling, monitoring and evaluating the work of assigned staff and radiography students. Oversees the MRI Coordinator / MR Safety Officer, ensuring that all safety measures are in place to provide a safe environment for staff and patients. Prepares for and operates MRI scanner(s) following specific physician orders, as needed. Produces detailed computer-generated scans of patients for diagnostic use following all policies and procedures and keeps abreast of all new MRI exams.EducationCompletion of an accredited Radiology Technology program and ARRT registry in MRI required.
