Role Overview
The Supervisor – Procurement at The Oberoi Centre of Excellence , Delhi will be responsible for supporting centralized procurement operations for food items across Group. The role requires hands-on experience in food-sector procurement, supply chain coordination, and vendor management, with a strong understanding of domestic and imported food sourcing. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure quality, compliance, cost efficiency, and uninterrupted supply.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day procurement operations for food categories, ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase requisitions and orders.
Coordinate with food suppliers, distributors, and internal stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted supply and adherence to quality standards
Ensure compliance with approved vendor lists, contracts, food safety norms, and internal procurement policies
Monitor pricing, lead times, shelf life, and service levels to ensure value and consistency
Maintain procurement documentation, MIS reports, and audit-ready records
Support vendor onboarding, evaluations, and performance reviews for food suppliers
Handle import-related procurement of food items, including documentation, FTA applicability, duties, and regulatory compliance
Resolve operational issues related to supply chain disruptions, shortages, or vendor non-compliance
Assist in process improvements and standardization initiatives within the Centre of Excellence
Key Requirements
Candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in procurement from QSR / Hospitality / Food Service organizations and FMCG companies
Graduate in Commerce, Hotel Management, or Food Technology
Strong exposure to food operations, supply chain, and procurement is essential
Working knowledge of import of food items , including FTA benefits, documentation, and regulatory requirements
Experience with vendor coordination and food distributor networks
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
High attention to detail, process orientation, and compliance mindset
Strong communication and coordination skills
Candidates from engineering or manufacturing backgrounds will not be considered
