Reporting structure, support, and scope

The Supervisor of Clinical Laboratory will report to a seasoned Laboratory Director and collaborate closely with a Board-Certified Pathology Medical Director, gaining strong administrative and medical leadership support while guiding a skilled team of MLS/MT/MLT professionals and phlebotomy staff. The Supervisor of Clinical Laboratory will partner daily with friendly nurses and a diverse interprofessional team—hospitalists, intensivists, emergency clinicians, pharmacists, and infection prevention—to champion CLIA and Joint Commission compliance, mentor staff, optimize scheduling and competencies, steward instruments and reagents, drive KPI improvements in turnaround times, and enhance patient-first service across core lab and blood bank operations.
