Supervisor Production

Job summary

: The Production Supervisor is primarily responsible for overseeing and leading a team of direct labor associates in the manufacture and assembly of products, components and parts for custom fire and rescue vehicles. The Supervisor is accountable for meeting production schedules, cost targets and quality standards. This position has great emphasis on highly skilled processes, complex assemblies and testing. The Supervisor must possess a high level of technical skill to assist operators in troubleshooting and problem resolution. The Supervisor must also lead the team in safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities:

Daily assignments of hourly production personnel in order to meet schedule commitments and cycle time requirements. Prioritizes and manages the customer workflow within the department to ensure timely and efficient task completion in accordance with the customer schedule.
