Job Description

Summary

  • Supervise and coordinate operational activities within Sterile Processing and Equipment Distribution to include decontamination, sterilization, assembly, case carts, storage and distribution of medical and surgical supplies and mobile equipment used in the care and treatment of patients.

  • Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred: Bachelor’s or Associates Degree OR Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 2 years SPD experience Preferred: Previous Supervisory and/or Surgery Experience
  • Skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to multitask. Good interpersonal skills Knowledge of instrumentation Ability to do scheduling Ability to speak in group setting, staff meetings
