Supervisor-Weld Shop(Prod & Quality):

  • Areas of Responsibility
  • Safety
  • Provide a safe working environment by identifying unsafe acts/conditions, conducting audits, ensuring adherence to safety rules, and providing training, monitoring, and counselling.
  • Ensure compliance with shop safety norms including Robot/Jig/Clamp operations Do's & Don'ts. Outcome: Zero accidents; accident‑free shop environment.
  • Quality
  • Ensure adherence to welding parameters and work instructions (WIS/SOS).
  • Reduce rework/rejection through preventive maintenance of jigs, kaizens, and process improvements.
  • Ensure direct OK parts to the next process by following quality systems, training, and check sheets.
  • Participate in new model/process study to identify quality risks and propose design/process improvements.
