Supervisory Safety and Occupational Health Specialist (Range Operations)

Summary About the Position: Supervises the Baumholder Training Area (BTA) and serves as the primary liaison of Range operations and scheduling issues at Baumholder. Serves as the Tactical Training Safety Specialist for he Baumholder Training Area (BTA). Manages the overall safety program for Baumholder Training Area and directs the technical work of Non-commissioned Officer safety personnel. Responsibilities Supervises the planning and personnel management within Range Operations. Serves as the primary liaison for Range Operations, scheduling, and coordination with German Army Heeresamt and Bundeswehr in support of all BMTA operations. Establishes and enforces occupational safety and health standards as the primary live fire safety subject matter expert. Inspects ranges, artillery firing positions, maneuver areas, and special training facilities for safety adherence and to ensure compliance with US and German safety requirements and regulations.
