Summary About the Position: This position serves as the second line supervisor and manager of the Front-End Department of a Commissary store. Fully responsible for all aspects of planning, scheduling, coordinating and controlling front end activities and personnel, and controlling all funds received and deposited daily as part of the front-end department operations. Responsibilities Direct and control through the subordinates, all phases of the operations and personnel of the commissary front end customer service department. Monitor and supervise all register transactions. Modify schedules based on personnel capabilities, planned and emergency leave schedules, and position vacancies. Evaluate work performance of subordinates. Identify training needs and work to ensure the needs are met. Respond to customer questions and issues with tact and diplomacy.
