About the position:

To ensure quality compliance of project materials through supplier inspections, audits and coordination with TPIs, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, QAP/MQP and OEM standards.


Key accountabilities:

  • Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, QAP/MQP and inspection plans.
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections at supplier manufacturing facilities.
  • Ensure materials supplied meet Wind OEM standards.
  • Perform material inspections for wind components, including:
  • Blades, hubs, nacelle, structural components
  • Electrical and mechanical components such as transformers, panels, cables
  • Transmission line components
  • Manage and coordinate material inspections at manufacturing plants, including Third Party Inspection (TPI) deputations.
  • Conduct supplier audits, follow-ups, and closure of action items.
  • Monitor the complete inspection lifecycle including:
  • Vendor selection and evaluation
  • Plant inspections and TPI allocation
  • Inspection follow-ups with vendors and internal teams
  • Review of inspection reports and TPI performance
  • Feedback and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and review inspection reports, NCRs, and CARs.
  • Maintain complete traceability and documentation for quality audits.
  • Review and approve QAP/ITP documents.
  • Share weekly inspection status reports with stakeholders.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Supplier Quality Inspection within the Wind/Solar energy sector.
  • Qualification- Electrical Engineer (Degree/Diploma)
  • Strong understanding of OEM standards, inspection methodologies, and audit processes.
  • Excellent coordination, documentation, and reporting skills.
  • Non-working from WTG manufacturing plant.
