Supplier Quality Development Engineer (m/w/d) Mechanics and Welding

Ensure Supplier Quality for the assigned commodity

• Perform assessment and re-assessment audits (Generic and Special processes) at suppliers in commodity panel and follow-up the defined actions in link to these audits as per Wabtec rules
• Manage PPAPs (Initial sample releases and FAIs) at suppliers in link to release of new parts
• Process re-qualification at main suppliers in the panel to ensure quality standard and continuous supplier development
• Execute supplier development programs with suppliers and internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain, Purchasing)
• Follow Top Offender meetings and QBR/QQR with main suppliers of assigned (sub-)commodity

Ensure resolution of Critical supplier issues (Hot Issues) within the commodity in cooperation with Product Line/ Site Quality, Engineering and Project Management:
