Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Title: Supplier Quality & ETA Handling Engineer –PCBA Assembly

Location: sasewadi ,Pune

Department: Quality / Supply Chain

Reporting To: Supply Chain Manager / Quality manager

Job Summary:

The role is responsible for ensuring supplier quality compliance and on-time delivery (ETA) of APCB / PCBA assemblies. This includes material handling (inward & outward), verification of SMT & MI assembly processes, PCBA rejection analysis, and control of material shortages at the supplier end to support uninterrupted production and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

· Ensure quality compliance of APCB / PCBA assemblies at supplier end.

· Monitor SMT & MI assembly processes and verify component correctness.

· Track ETA and delivery schedules, escalate delays, and coordinate corrective actions.

· Verify inward & outward material handling, FIFO, traceability, and ESD practices.

· Identify and control material shortages, wrong issues, and mix-ups at supplier end.

· Perform PCBA inspection and verification as per approved documents.

· Conduct PCBA rejection analysis, identify root cause, and drive CAPA.

· Maintain quality records, rejection data, and supplier performance reports.

· Support supplier audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

· Diploma / BE / BTech in Electronics / Electrical

Experience

2-3 years’ experience in PCBA manufacturing, supplier quality, or electronics assembly.

Technical Skills

· Knowledge of SMT & MI PCBA assembly processes.

· Understanding of electronic components, polarity, ratings, and verification.

· Experience in material handling, shortages management, and traceability.

· Knowledge of PCBA defects, rejection analysis, and RCA tools.

Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC-A-610 preferred)
