Our Client, a Automotive Components company, is looking for a direct hire SQE for their McAllen, TX location.
Responsibilities:
Critical in strengthening supplier performance, supporting new program launches, and maintaining high standards across our supply chain—especially for molding and electronic components sourced from Mexican plants and external suppliers.
Manage supplier part quality for the plants, ensuring compliance and rapid response to part-related claims.
Support supplier selection and development processes, especially for electronic and molding components.
Lead APQP, PPAP, and supplier audits, ensuring quality standards are met from early development through production.
Collaborate closely with internal QA teams, engineering, procurement, and supplier partners.
Monitor supplier performance metrics and drive continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities.
