Job Description Summary

Supply Chain Analyst - Purchasing and Procurement.

Material Planning

• Review MRP report and material shortages report to ensure adequate material supply.
• Carry out detailed material planning and re-scheduling for high value and long lead time items.
• Ensure material or component specification changes are planned appropriately to avoid scrapping of obsolete material.
• Review and manage slow moving inventory to minimize inventory exposure owing to excess and obsolescence.
• Maintain appropriate inventory safety stock and re-order levels where necessary to avoid any material stock out situations.
• Maintain item data and planning parameters in the system to ensure MRP reports are generated accurately.

Supplier Management

• Ensure full compliance to the respective standards on supplier management.
• Involve in supplier audits.
