Summary/Objectives

: The primary function of the Supply Chain Clerk, under supervision, is to monitor and execute processes & functions within the Supply Chain. The Supply Chain Clerk is responsible for carrying out all shipping, receiving, and inventory processes as directed by supervision. Operate equipment and perform functions related to these areas. Importantly, the Supply Chain Clerk, should understand the function and relationship of their activity/department to other parts of the Company, and work in cooperation and understanding with all other groups/departments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned) :

  • Print completed workorders and item labels, using NetSuite, for orders that are ready to be packed.
  • Order supplies from vendors as needed and other areas as requested by supervision.
  • Process transfer orders for shipment, i.e. pick, pack and stage for shipment. Utilize NetSuite for these duties. EX: Sub contractors
  • Execute assigned work or jobs within the department.
  • Use knowledge of facility parts storage strategy and part placement requirements.
  • Perform shipping order pulling and stocking functions.
  • Perform receiving functions and resolve receiving issues.
  • Support and abide by all company policies, procedures, safety rules and principals of Lean Manufacturing/5S.
  • Recommend work changes and improvements related to layout of area, manpower, equipment, or materials usage for continuous improvement.
  • Provide inventory cycle counts within Pelco.
  • Be available as required by customer demand to work additional time (overtime) throughout the year.
  • Perform other duties/projects as assigned by the Cell Coordinator, Supervisor or Manager.

  • Education and/or Experience:

    Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience preferably in warehouse/production environment; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Average math and computer skills are necessary.
  • Certification of forklift operation and other material moving equipment is required.

    The employee is required to stand for long periods of time and occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move heavier items utilizing a team lift. Repetitive use of hands/motion and have manual dexterity, finger dexterity, and multi-limb coordination Required Personal Protective Equipment includes, but is not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment: Manufacturing plant, Non-controlled climate, Mechanical equipment, Safety glasses, Hearing protection and other PPE, as required, Moving objects, Fumes, Odors, dirt, and dust.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-Time. Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 5:00AM 3:30PM. Work schedule is subject to change. May require overtime based on business needs.

    Travel: No travel is expected for this position.

    Safety Sensitive Position: This position is a safety-sensitive position as defined in the Pelco Drug and Alcohol Testing Policy and 63 Okla. Stat. 427.8(K)(1)
