Supply Chain Executive

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end supply chain process, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and coordination with suppliers. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that products are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with company standards.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Management: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure the timely purchase of raw materials and goods.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, track orders, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
• Logistics Coordination: Oversee transportation and shipping logistics to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Supply Chain Optimization: Implement processes for improving efficiency and reducing costs within the supply chain.
• Data Management: Maintain accurate records of supply chain activities, inventory, and shipping documentation.
• Collaboration: Work with sales, operations, and finance teams to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
• Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and third-party vendors.
• Problem Solving: Address any issues or delays in the supply chain and find effective solutions.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management or logistics.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle logistics challenges.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Additional Qualifications:
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to the supply chain is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
