Candidate should have handled team size of 3 – 5 in the latest position managing daily tasks in the areas like Purchase Requests, Raising RFQ’s to vendors, Analysing quotes, Purchase order approvals, Inventory Management – receipts, issues and despatches, E-Way Bills.

Should have experience of ERP, GST, Custom formalities - Imports & Exports, Job works.

Job Description:

The Key areas of responsibilities and strategy implementation to support business growth will be as under:

1. Overall cost control for the specific area of sourcing supporting one or combination of the businesses like Chemical Equipments, Gas Equipments, Cleanroom Construction or Capital Equipments

2. Achieve creditor days to sustain cashflow

3. JIT Inventory Management

4. Alternate sources for all major cost items

5. Contractor Development and management

The operations control on daily basis would involve following activities:

1. Plan and manage inventory levels of materials or products based on ABC analysis and XYZ analysis.

2. Source for new parts, alternate suppliers or subcontractors when the need arises

3. International Vendor development

4. Commercial negotiations

5. Letter of Credit and negotiation of commercial terms with vendors to improve creditor days.

6. Import & Export formalities, documentation and effectively utilise benefits like custom duty benefit against EPCG, High Seas Purchase & Sales

7. Customs bonded manufacturing formalities and compliances

8. Contracts Management with Vendors

9. Advising Business Head on strategic areas

10. Project wise cost tracking & analysis

11. MIS update to management
