Job Description - Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview: The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring optimal sourcing, supplier management, and supply continuity. The role involves driving cost efficiency, maintaining compliance with quality standards, and implementing processes to support manufacturing and business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively work with suppliers to negotiate optimal terms for sourcing while balancing cost, volume, and quality to secure long-term supply continuity.
- Assess and mitigate risks in the supply chain, managing global disruptions to ensure continuous material availability.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of value-added manufacturing processes and costs.
- Create and manage capacity plans aligned with sales forecasts.
- Collaborate with contract manufacturers, provide forecasts, and ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct onsite audits of suppliers/contract manufacturers as per standards.
- Maintain COGS for all products and track against production orders.
- Investigate process deviations, non-compliance, market complaints, product failures, and recalls; implement corrective actions.
- Take ownership of SOP implementation as per ISO 13485 and drive necessary updates.
- Ensure all procurement records are maintained in compliance with standards.
- Setup and drive ERP adoption across procurement functions.
- Develop dashboards for Budget vs Actuals, Inventory Tracking, and Raw Material Availability.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in medical devices or EMS companies.
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus)
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 and compliance requirements.
- Experience in ERP implementation and dashboard reporting.
- Analytical mindset with ability to manage risks, costs, and supply continuity.
