Supply Chain Manager

Greater Toronto Area - Onsite

Reporting to the Director of North American Purchasing & Planning, this role leads production planning, scheduling, purchasing, and logistics while driving alignment across global supply chain functions.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead and coach purchasing, planning, and logistics teams; build skills, develop talent, and improve performance
  • Improve material availability, optimize scheduling, reduce shortages, and remove bottlenecks
  • Establish and track KPIs (cost, PPV, inventory turns, lead time, service levels, supplier performance)
  • Forecast material requirements and develop accurate production plans based on sales demand, orders, and inventory
  • Develop and implement purchasing policies, supplier scorecards, and supplier development programs
  • Partner with category management to drive cost savings and process improvements
  • Report performance metrics to senior leadership (capacity, schedule adherence, forecast accuracy, etc.)
  • Manage supplier contracts, supply agreements, and third-party logistics relationships
  • Ensure compliance with shipping, customs, and import/export regulations
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives within purchasing and planning
  • Act as first point of escalation for the purchasing/planning team

Requirements:

  • 10+ years procurement/supply chain experience in manufacturing
  • 5+ years in a Leadership role
  • Well-rounded experience in Supply Chain including Purchasing, Planning, and Logistics
  • Degree or diploma in business, supply chain, or related field
  • Must be willing to work onsite, this is not hybrid or remote.
  • Strong ERP/MRP knowledge + advanced Excel skills
  • Skilled in sourcing niche suppliers and managing complex supply bases
  • Strong communicator, detail-oriented, analytical, resourceful, and proactive
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and building supplier relationships
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada (no sponsorship)

Preferred:

  • Project Management training
  • APICS / SCMP / similar designation
  • Lean manufacturing knowledge

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $92,000 – $126,000 (based on experience) up to an additional 10-30k with incentives listed below.
