Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities

1.Supply Chain:

Follow up with buyer for a signed copy of contract.

Co-ordinate closely with the logistics/shipping Company/agents for scheduling all bookings and shipments to ensure smooth and timely execution of export order

Maintain a direct relationship with Ahmedabad office pertaining to export/ local contracts, pricing, banking and documentation related to trading (if any)

Co-ordinate with Ahmedabad office and take necessary Insurance cover for export consignments

Supervise preparation of complete set of pre-shipment and post-shipment documents pertaining

to exports of castor oil and derivatives and Oleochemicals based and on L/C and/or other credit

terms. Ensure accuracy of documents.

Communicate necessary export/ local instructions and co-ordinate with factory for dispatch of

material.

Co-ordinate and follow up with CHA for timely execution of orders.

Follow up with independent surveyor regarding quality and quantity report as per buyers format

Interact with service providers and negotiate best rates for supply of flexi bags/ ISO tanks.

Scrutinize bills of service providers and forward to the concerned Manager for necessary

authorization.

Review and plan castor storage tank requirements at Kandla in conjunction with the concerned

Manager; apply for extensions, wherever necessary; communicate details of storage tanks to

Indore for taking appropriate Insurance cover.

2.Customer Interface:

Monitor all sales transactions and review all customer response for orders and payments and

resolve all customer issues and manage export shipments and collaborate with service

providers to ensure smooth execution.

Administer all exports and local sales of castor oil, derivatives and Oleochemicals and ensure compliance to all Organizational policies and procedures and monitor all transactions and manage all communication with customer related to shipment including carting details and forwarding a copy set of documents to customer.

Track electronically the status of all the shipments (ETA/ ETD) and keep the buyers duly informed.

Develop new business and drive export sales activity by analyzing the export data. Identify and initiate business with new customers in new geographies.

To oversee and manage the daily operations of our supply chain functions including assisting in coordination and optimization all processes related to sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.

3.MIS :

Maintain appropriate data, update, analyse and circulate following reports as per agreed schedule

Pending Orders - collate data (buyer wise/ product wise) and circulate to all concerned on a daily basis

Stock Position - co-ordinate with plant, obtain data and report in the prescribed format on a daily basis

Remittance sheet (twice in a week) - monitor the customer outstandings and follow up on payments

Bookings and sales data (weekly/ monthly) – follow up for required information; collate and circulate MIS

Debtors Outstanding (as at every month end) - co-ordinate with Ahmedabad office and

update payment status; follow up with buyer regarding o/s payment

Info drive data (as at every month end) - follow up for timely receipt of data; collate, sort and filter and circulate report

Export/ Local business sheet (everyday) – update details of all contracts

Annual Plan – assist CEO to prepare annual budget (AOP) for Castor and Oleochemicals business

Presentation – assist the concerned Manager in making necessary ppt’s from time to time as advised by CEO.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIS:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Operations

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

2-4 years of experience in logistics. Experience in SCM software, if any

COMPETENCIES:

Good communication skills (spoken and written)

In depth knowledge of working on excel sheets, power point and word document

Analytical skills/ Exports and local sales operations/ Customer service/

Proficiency in analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, and Excel).

CTC:- 6lac to 7 Lac Per Annum
