Role Overview

Firki is looking for a hands-on Supply Chain & Operations Manager to manage end-to-end operations. This role will be responsible for procurement, production coordination, logistics, warehousing, and delivery execution, ensuring smooth movement of goods from suppliers to distributors, Modern Trade, and B2B customers.



Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Production

  • Plan and execute procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables

  • Coordinate with co-packers / manufacturing partners for production planning and scheduling

  • Track production timelines, yields, shortages, and quality-related escalations

  • Ensure cost control and timely material availability

Supply Chain & Logistics

  • Manage end-to-end logistics including PTL and FTL movements

  • Plan and execute appointment-based deliveries for Modern Trade

  • Handle dispatches across Modern Trade, General Trade, and B2B channels

  • Coordinate with transporters, warehouses, and distributors to ensure OTIF deliveries

  • Optimize routes, load planning, and freight costs

Warehousing & Inventory

  • Monitor inventory across plants, warehouses, and distributors

  • Ensure FIFO / FEFO compliance for shelf-life-sensitive beverage products

  • Handle stock reconciliation, shortages, damages, and claims

MIS & Reporting

  • Own end-to-end MIS including:

    • Procurement tracker

    • Production & dispatch tracker

    • Inventory and aging reports

    • Delivery performance and freight cost analysis

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards for management

  • Identify gaps and drive continuous process improvements

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a single point of contact between procurement, manufacturing, sales, and finance

  • Support sales teams with dispatch planning and availability confirmations

  • Coordinate with finance on GRNs, billing, freight payments, and reconciliations



Requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4–8 years of experience in FMCG / Beverage / Food operations

  • Strong exposure to Modern Trade and B2B supply models

  • Hands-on experience with PTL & FTL logistics and appointment-based deliveries

  • Comfortable working in a startup or high-growth environment

  • Strong command over Excel / Google Sheets; ERP exposure is a plus

  • Execution-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple vendors
