Peanutbutter and Jelly Private Limited (About Get-A-Whey) , a subsidiary of Heritage Foods Limited, is engaged in curating & retailing healthy desserts, primarily protein Ice Creams, Keto Desserts, Vegan Ice Pops, Low Cal Kulfis and other food products through e-commerce and q-commerce platforms and retail chain stores in India under the brand name “Get-A-Way” (GAW). The company focuses on combining taste, quality and creativity to deliver delightful dessert experiences.


Ideal Candidate

  • 3–5 years of experience in Operations / Supply Chain / Cold Chain / Dairy / Frozen Foods .
  • Young, energetic, and highly execution-oriented .
  • Comfortable working in a startup / growth-stage environment .
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on, “doer” mindset .
  • Ability to manage vendors, warehouses, and logistics partners directly.


Role Overview

End-to-end operations , including manufacturing coordination, cold-chain warehousing, inventory planning, logistics, and cost optimization. This role is pivotal in ensuring seasonal scalability, operational efficiency, and service excellence while supporting rapid business growth.


Key Responsibilities & KPIs

1. Capacity Planning & Seasonality

  • Plan and manage production capacity , cold storage capacity (litres / pallets) , and transport capacity .
  • Ensure readiness for seasonal demand spikes and promotional loads.
  • KPI: Capacity utilization %, service fill rate, peak-season readiness.

2. Warehousing & Pallet Optimization

  • Optimize warehouse layout , pallet utilization, and cold-chain discipline.
  • Ensure strict FIFO / FEFO adherence across all storage points.
  • KPI: Pallet utilization %, inventory accuracy, temperature compliance.

3. Inventory Planning & Control

  • Maintain optimal inventory levels , right SKU mix, and safety stocks.
  • Minimize obsolescence, expiries, and stock-outs .
  • KPI: Inventory turns, expiry losses %, OTIF.

4. Logistics & Transportation Optimization

  • Drive route planning, load optimization , and fleet utilization.
  • Control logistics costs while maintaining service levels.
  • Reduce in-transit losses and cold-chain breaches .
  • KPI: Cost per kg/litre, on-time delivery %, transit loss %.

5. Cost Management & Budget Control

  • Track end-to-end supply chain costs vs budget .
  • Lead continuous improvement and productivity initiatives.
  • KPI: Cost savings, budget adherence, cost-to-serve.

6. Integration with Heritage Network

  • Leverage Heritage’s warehouses, routes, and infrastructure for scale and efficiency.
  • Align operating processes, SLAs, and performance metrics.
  • KPI: Network utilization, cost synergy realization.
