**Job Description**

The Supply Chain Planner (SCP) is the focal point for all supply chainactivities. The planner develops andimplements long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacityissues, production location decisions, etc. in support of business growth andsustainment. The planner supports execution of programs and coordination of newprogram / product launches. SCP monitorskey performance indicators, analyzes performance data, and coordinatescross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chaininitiatives.

The Supply Chain Planner optimizes how supply chain managementinterfaces with manufacturing systems. SCP will plan, prepare, issue andcontrol material requirements in conjunction with the production schedule. Planner will support risk managementactivities impacting the value chain working with cross-functional teams.
