Supply Chain Planning Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Demand and Supply Reconciliation: Lead the monthly S&OP cycle to align sales forecasts with manufacturing capabilities. Facilitate consensus between Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure a single, unified build plan.
• Monitor the sales order backlog against the approved build plan: In cases of supply shortages, lead the Allocation Process to prioritize customer shipments based on strategic importance and revenue recognition targets.
• Capacity and Resource Modelling: Analyse long-term resource requirements, including floor space, assembly bay availability, and specialized labour. Identify potential constraints and develop strategies to balance load against capacity.
• Strategic ECO Impact Assessment: Evaluate the long-term planning implications of major Engineering Changes (ECO). Assess how design transitions affect future inventory liabilities, supplier commitments, and overall production lead times to determine optima...
