Position Description

You will serve as a Supply Management Specialist in the Naval Supply Systems Command of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR SIGONELLA, Italy.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

  • You will coordinate with major area commands in the development of new HM initiatives integrated with Regional planning to enhance program management.
  • You will develop proposals for and manage implementations of automation for HM operations, new facility requirements or changes to existing structures to ensure environmental compliance.
  • You will directly oversea and monitor all detailed day-to-day aspects of HMC operations located various austere locations.
  • You will serve as HAZMAT Technical Advisor to other principal NAVSUP FLCSI component heads, representatives of other agencies, private industry, local government agencies, and operation with other support systems to ensure regulatory compliance.
