Teaching Assistant  
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP / February Start Available
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only
Pay: £88 – £110 per day

GSL Education are seeking reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to provide supply cover across York and the surrounding areas, including mainstream secondary schools and specialist SEN provisions.

About the Role:

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:


  • Support pupils in mainstream and SEN settings, including 1:1, small group, and whole-class support.
  • Assist teaching staff with classroom management, learning activities, and pupil engagement.
  • Deliver targeted support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, SLCN, and other learning differences.
