Job Title: Support Installation Engineer

Job Summary

The Support Installation Engineer – Home Automation is responsible for assisting in the installation, testing, commissioning, and support of home automation systems at customer sites. The role involves on-site execution, coordination with senior engineers, and direct interaction with customers, primarily in residential and commercial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation and commissioning of home automation systems at client sites
• Perform wiring, device mounting, panel connections, and basic system configuration
• Support senior engineers in testing and handover of automation systems
• Troubleshoot basic issues related to automation devices and wiring
• Coordinate with project and service teams during site execution
• Ensure installation is done as per drawings, standards, and safety guidelines
• Maintain site checklists, installation reports, and handover documents
• Explain basic system usage to customers during handover (in Hindi)
• Travel to project sites as required
• Technical Skills & Requirements
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems
• Understanding of home automation wiring and control systems
• Hands-on experience with tools, cabling, and testing equipment
• Familiarity with home automation technologies such as switches, dimmers, sensors, relays, touch panels, and controllers
• Knowledge of KNX / Zigbee / Wi-Fi / IoT-based systems is an advantage

Language Requirement

• Must be able to speak and understand Hindi fluently
• Ability to communicate basic technical instructions to customers in Hindi

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / BE / BTech in Electronics, Electrical.
