About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored, person-centred support. Whether it’s daily living assistance, emotional guidance, or community engagement, your work will help create a more inclusive and compassionate society.
You’ll work across a 24/7 rotating roster, including sleepovers, active nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, individualised support to people with disabilities and young people
- Assist with personal care, mobility, and skill development
- Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support
- Support community participation and recreational activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans
- Advocate for customer rights and promote independence
- Create safe, trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs
What you’ll need Childrens Services
- Passionate about human rights and creating positive change
- Empathetic, compassionate, and resilient
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Certificate IV in Disability or Child, Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain) click here to view more details
- Current First Aid, CPR, Drivers licence & NDIS Worker check or willingness to obtain
