Responsibilities and Duties

Our Care Assistants, support 9 adults with learning disabilities conditions in a care home environment and work on a shift pattern. Including supporting Daily living skill development, personal care, and working with some behaviors which may present as challenging.

Ashingham House is a large detached property situated in the picturesque village of Temple Ewell which is close to the coastal port of Dover; Ashingham House offers a service to adults who have been identified as having learning difficulties and may also have behaviours that challenge. The home provides twenty-four-hour staff support, and activities are available and planned to take into account each individual's likes and dislikes as well as their level of abilities.

Since vulnerable people need care all the time, we do ask that you work weekends but not all, this ensures our service users always have the support required. This is a full-time role on a 37.5 hours per week ...
