Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Roles & Responsibility:

Incumbent will be responsible for supervising the SCS Planning process team and be the single point of contact for stakeholders (internal & external). In their daily duties they will manage the process teams and ensure smooth flow of process. Managing and guiding the team towards continuous improvement

RESPONSIBILITIES 

•Be first point of contact of the SCS (Supply Chain Solutions) team and act on all request
•Monitor allocation of ad hoc tasks/projects and ensuring on time delivery
•Ensure seamless delivery of all standard tasks with high levels of accuracy and quality
•Handle or help to resolve escalations to ensure high customer satisfaction
•Actively contribute to develop team through training, coaching, and facilitation
•Extend support to the SCS EMEA AUT Planning process team, as and when required
•Monitor KPI’s and set goals for team thereby achieving and sustaining the agreed TEOA- Star level
•Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives
•Regular interaction with stakeholders to align with Customer expectation and to explore new areas of support
•Cognizant of Industry best practices for analytics, EMEA AUT Supply Chain Planning and Customer Supply Chain Planning process; thereby implementing the same where applicable
•Regular Communication and coordination with various functions within TE.
•Regular team meeting and interactions to discuss and address day to day hurdles and issues towards achievement of team goals
•Pro-active in identifying reporting requirements and implementing the same
•Effective and timely communication of all information to team & stakeholders

Desired Candidate profile:

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE:

Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE:

Previous work experience in Supply chain and order management. Experience in leading a small team in a shared service environment 

COMPETENCIES:


•SAP experience (especially PP/Purchasing modules) beneficial.
•Solid understanding of Supply Chain Processes, metrics and KPI’s.
•Strong analytical ability to translate data into actionable information 
•Concrete use of relevant tools (MS Office, Access, SharePoint, SAP Biz Objects etc)
•Very good written & verbal English language skills
•Very high customer and service orientation required
•Performance oriented and focused towards Quality.
•Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements
•Ability to work in an intercultural and international team.
•Willingness to constantly learn also complex processes and scenarios
