This individual works from blueprints and technical drawings to perform precision grinding tasks with a focus on tight tolerances and smooth finishes. The role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to producing quality work that meets internal and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation
• Set up and operate precision surface grinders with horizontal or vertical spindles.
• Interpret and follow blueprints, CAD layouts, and job travelers to determine grinding requirements.
• Select appropriate grinding wheels based on material type, tolerances, and surface finish requirements.
