This position is crucial for ensuring the accuracy of surgical coding and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze surgical documentation to ensure accurate coding and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct quality assurance checks on coded data to identify errors and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor new coders on coding guidelines, software tools, and best practices in surgical coding.
