Lead a team of 7-9 Urology Coders, collaborating with other E/M supervisors to ensure accurate and efficient coding processes. Oversee daily report preparation, manage surgical coding tasks, and work closely with 40-50 urology providers and surgeons.
Responsibilities
+ Supervise a team of 7-9 Urology Coders.
+ Collaborate with E/M supervisors on coding processes.
+ Prepare and review daily reports, focusing on surgical coding tasks.
+ Verify the accuracy of coding and provide guidance where necessary.
+ Interact with 40-50 urology providers and surgeons.
+ Engage in leveling and management tasks.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of Urology Coding experience.
+ 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
+ Experience in medical coding, specifically in Urology.
+ Certifications: CPC, CPSP, Medical Coding certifications.
