Surgical Unit RN - Edison, NJ

A registered nurse with specialized operating room expertise is needed for an 8-hour shift position Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with required on-call responsibilities. This role demands experience in open-heart procedures to support complex surgical care. The position is contract-based, located in Edison, NJ.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained thereafter
• ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained
• PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and maintained
• Minimum one year of perioperative nursing experience or equivalent on-the-job training
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Pre- and post-operative care experience
