Survey Engineer – Location: Cheltenham, UK

Role Overview: Primary role is to undertake steam trap surveys on customers sites using an ultrasonic testing device to acoustically monitor the condition of traps. To log all relevant data associated with the installation of the trap so a report can be generated by the back office. Advise on the suitability of installed steam traps and the pipework arrangement. You will also be required to fulfil other services such as light digital installation, steam quality testing and basic plant and equipment reviews.

Responsibilities

• Direct impact on operation of the business within own area, collaborate with other teams, suppliers and customers that are both internal and external but have shared interests.
• Conduct trap surveys on customers plants in and around the North East but on occasion there will be a need to travel and stay away visiting other parts of the country where work dictates. <...
