Job Description Survey Technician KHEOPS is seeking a fulltime Instrument Operator/Survey Technician. Candidates must possess strong computer/technical skills and the willingness to embrace and learn new technologies. The position also requires the flexibility to travel and stay out-of-town on a frequent basis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Follows the directives of the Survey Crew Chief to complete assigned projects. Forward thinking, understands field processes and is able to identify errors in data collection or other blunders. Accustomed to field to finish procedures (point codes and line strings run in field). Follows and complies with, when applicable, Company procedures and State requirements to ensure that field data is in the proper format, taking into account the fact that each job will have its own peculiarities.
