About the opportunity

TheSustainability Advisor will support the delivery of Inland Rail's
sustainability goals by implementing sustainability initiatives, monitoring and
reporting on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance, and
ensuring compliance with relevant sustainability frameworks and standards. You
will work collaboratively across teams to integrate sustainable practices into
project planning, delivery, and operations, driving positive environmental,
social, and economic outcomes aligned with Inland Rail’s long-term objectives.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Actively manage the relationships with the contractor’s sustainability manager to ensure the sustainability outputs are fit for purpose and contribute to the achievement of the project’s sustainability objectives and targets.
