Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Sustainability Reporting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in sustainability and ESG reporting, with a deep working knowledge of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework and hands-on expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting in line with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064 standards. Proven experience working with the EcoVadis platform is essential. This role will be responsible for supporting materiality assessments, developing and executing carbon reduction and decarbonization plans, and ensuring high-quality, credible sustainability disclosures aligned with stakeholder and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage sustainability reports aligned with GRI standards.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for comprehensive reporting and to demonstrate progress toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

• Conduct GHG emissions calculations in accordance with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064.

• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and areas for improvement in emissions reduction.

• Experience in setting and implementing near-term and long-term SBTi targets, including initiatives to reduce emissions and progress toward net-zero goals.

• Prepare documentation and evidence for Eco Vadis evaluations and ratings.

• Implementing sustainable practices into the system to enhance overall ESG performance.

• Support and coordinate REC procurement activities in India for corporate office operations.

• Develop and execute carbon reduction plans, setting measurable targets and tracking progress.

• Organize committee meetings and CSR activities.

• Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to work across cross functional teams.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI)

Qualification & Experience.

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

• 2+ years of experience in sustainability management or related roles

• Strong knowledge of sustainability practices, environmental regulations, and industry standards

• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies

• Experience with sustainability reporting, data analysis and sustainability reporting frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, etc

• Experience with setting SBti near and long-term target setting and implementing measures to reduce emissions and attain net zero goal.

• Knowledge of REC procurement in India for corporate offices

• Experience in driving supplier sustainability programs, supplier sustainability assessments and providing training to key suppliers.
