Job Title: ETL QA Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced ETL QA Engineer with a strong background in data testing, particularly in SAP HANA/ECC environments. The ideal candidate should be proficient in validating large data sets using SQL, PySpark, and have a deep understanding of data parity and historical data validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  Design, develop and execute ETL test cases to validate data movement and transformations.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform Data Parity and Historical Data Validation across multiple data sources and targets.

  
  


• 
  

  Validate complex data pipelines involving SAP HANA / ECC systems.

  
  


• 
  

  Create and execute SQL queries for data validation and defect tracking.

  
  


• 
  

  Work closely with data engineers and developers using PySpark for test data setup and validations.

  
  


• 
  

  Analyze business and technical requirements to determine testing needs.

  
  


• 
  

  Report bugs and track resolutions in a timely manner.

  
  

Required Skills:

• 
  

  Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in ETL Testing.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong experience with SAP HANA / ECC based data extraction and validation.

  
  


• 
  

  Good working knowledge of PySpark for handling large data volumes.

  
  


• 
  

  Expertise in SQL – writing complex queries for data validation.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience in Data Parity and Historical Data Validation techniques.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  
  

Good to Have:

  Experience with test management tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail.

  Exposure to Big Data and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
