Swimming Instructor

Contract Type: Permanent, part-time, 27.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–3:00pm

Salary: USP Scale 5, SP 16-20 (FTE: £32,596 - £36,362 / Actual: £20,257 - £22,597 per annum).

Start Date: (or sooner).

Responsibilities

  • Deliver swimming lessons to all pupils as part of the weekly curriculum.
  • Provide individual 1:1 sessions for students who require additional support.
  • Promote student progress, confidence and enjoyment in the water.

The Bridge School is a setting for children and young people aged 4–19 with a broad range of communication, physical, and profound and multiple learning difficulties. Many pupils are on the autistic spectrum. The school is part of Unity Schools Partnership, a collaborative academy trust with a network of special schools.
