DIRECTOR URBAN PLANNING

The Company

This well-regarded leading national planning consultancy is going through a growth period in New South Wales and as part of that process, they’re looking for a Director, Planning Services in the Sydney office. As one of the key players in Sydney, they are known for quality advices, competitive offerings and a broad range of clients and projects. They provide advice and services in strategic planning, statutory planning, social planning, transport planning, analytics and planning technologies.

The Role

This is an exiciting leadership opportunity to be an integral part of this growth and contribute your expertise in delivering transformational projects across NSW urban and regional areas. As a Director, you will be running and provide a wide range of services across statutory and strategic planning fields – including due diligence assessment, development advisory, planning pathways advice, and planning proposals. You will be the reprentative of the firm at industry, client events/workshops/functions, driving collaboration across internal teams and external stakeholders.

About You

We are interested to speak with commerically-sound, business-driven candidates who demonstrate strong technical experience with the NSW Planning system (12+ years of experience) and an appetite to further advance their leadership and business development skills in a competitive and supportive environment. You will possess strong business, networking and client relationship management skill, besides the ability to manage and delivery projects for the public and private sector clients.

This opportunity would suit an up and coming experienced Associate Director (Planning) who is looking to step up or a seasoned Director who is looking for a change in the environment.
