Good day and I hope you're doing well I'm currently working on a research project, and I wanted to reach out to people having experience with PyChrono / Bullet / forward physics simulators (preferably open-sourced ones).
My project involves an inverse problem in vehicle collision dynamics using Simulation Based Inference (SBI), and the main bottleneck right now is generating a synthetic dataset using a forward physics simulator. I already have a clear idea of the parameters I want to vary and the outputs I want to record, but the learning-curve is proving to be very time-consuming.
If you are up to the task then you'd be helping with:
(1) setting up a basic forward simulation (not overly complex),
(2) and writing a dataset generation script that varies initial parameters and logs the resulting outputs.
On my end, I'll be handling:
(1) large-scale dataset generation,
(2) neural network training,
(3) inverse inference,
(4) and all analysis and write-up.
