Job Description:


Active Directory administration:

• Run queries in AD and generate reports

• Review policies and security settings

• Manage group policies, review existing policies

• Understand and manage DNS



PowerShell skills:

• Automate routine tasks

• Query APIs

• Interpret and document existing scripts



Understand Microsoft Certificate Services

• Apply understanding of PKI principals to maintain AD CAs, CRLs, templates

• Troubleshoot certificate issues

• Implement new services (based on supplied architecture design)



Support and Troubleshooting:

• Triage support tickets, work with end users

• Assess existing environments

• Interpret event logs and application logs

• Basic understanding of networking and firewalls

• Patch systems

• Perform health checks



Build up new/replacement environments:

• Assess existing environments

• Provision new servers/services (based on a supplied architecture design)

• Document existing systems
